That's absolutely beautiful

Couple of natural hard wood finishes that I like may be an option for tops like this, Rubio Monocoat and OSMO Hardwax Oil.I'm not a big fan of epoxy finishes, over time they have some big drawbacks.

Great video.

Half of 1 1/4” is 5/8” not 3/4”

WOW - I am extremely not a fan of that wooden countertop - that's where the north american and European market differentiate and why we call that side of the world "obsessed with wood". It's either laminate tops or a nice stone product used in our kitchens in the UK.Nonetheless this vid is useful for peeps regardless.Thanks.

I do have a question about an upcoming project. I have a patio that I will post a picture of that I want to convert into a bathroom. the open area and an outdoor closet with a concrete slab that I think I will have hack hammer out and dig out 2 feet down for the plumbing. I'm just not sure how to attach the subfloor level with the rest of the house and existing crawlspace without damaging the foundation. lol, I have so many questions.I just noticed i can't attach a picture. Google 400 knox ave vine grove ky

Thank you for the great video, just about to begin doing our kitchen, thinking about making custom cabinets, love your live edge bar, any idea where we can get the slab in ontario for a good price? and suggestions for our small kitchen. Thank you again for the videos

Great show, and one suggestion is could do one episode for what kind of tool you using, and dig down to detail like how is different toll can make different finish or different range of work. And if you can be like make up youtuber, they always list what kind of tool they use in each episode and always detail to model number.

Maybe I missed it, but you mentions having to wait until the finish was dry before you applied the epoxy top coat, what finish?

I like it! I was a little concerned about those legs being temporary but when you mentioned the metal legs at the end that will be more than enough to support it! Also.. Wouldn't hurt to throw a beautiful bow tie or two into that split!

Looks good, however fixings are inadequate for the job. I would have gone for over kill.
